Grote Industries to Expand its Monterrey, Mexico Facility
MADISON, Ind. (January 13, 2022) – Grote Industries has never stopped innovating during its 120 years. During that time, it has grown from a small company leading the way in injection molding and lighting technology for the automotive sector to an industry-leading manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicle lighting and safety systems. Now, with a global footprint of production facilities spanning three continents, Grote is better positioned than ever to extend this long tradition of innovation.
Grote Industries is excited to announce an expansion of their engineering and production facility, Grote Industries de Mexico, in Monterrey, Mexico. Power cords, trailer wire harnesses, cables, and air-line products are designed and manufactured at this facility. This expansion will add production and manufacturing space, as well as shipping capacity and staff space. Along with the expansion of the physical location will come an enlargement of their in-house design team. This additional investment will ensure that Grote’s capacity for innovative product development grows in line with customer needs, now and in the future. The expansion is planned to be complete by July 31, 2022.
As a company at the forefront of transportation technology, Grote’s North American locations in Canada, the United States, and Mexico play an important part in this success. From Grote Electronics, their cutting-edge assembly facility located in Canada’s technology triangle, to the world headquarters in Madison, Indiana, to their newest center of growth in Monterrey, Grote Industries’ strong North American roots are the driving force for their global presence.
The expansion of Grote Industries de Mexico underscores Grote’s ongoing commitment to embrace new opportunities and create the kind of innovations that customers around the globe have come to rely upon.
