I bought a 51942 LH trailer light to replace one that fell off my trailer. I don’t know how to wire it. There are 3 trailer wires on the LH side (Yellow, Tan and Brown) and 2 light wires on the 51942 (Yellow & Brown). Please advise proper wiring/wiring diagram.

Grote's Answer

The 51942 trailer light grounds through the mounting and the wires are as follows:

Brown wire = tail

Yellow wire = stop / turn
